Deborah Ray is a 5th Generation Oregonian. She has a background in Real Estate, Finance Management, Construction and has been a small business owner.

Deborah entered the Insurance Industry in 2003 as a Field Representative conducting commercial insurance inspections for Insurance Services Office (ISO). This included extensive training in loss & casualty and risk management practices. She provided underwriting information to some of the most preferred insurance carriers in the industry including classes of business such as Manufacturing, Wood Products, Restaurants, Hotels, Municipalities, Hospitals, Churches, Schools, Farms, Automotive Repair & Dealers, Office & Retail, and the Transportation industry.

In 2007 Deborah joined Western States Insurance in Cottage Grove specializing in Commercial Business Insurance. Deborah has the experience and knowledge to help her clients understand the insurance process. She involves her clients so they understand their options, making informed insurance choices.

Deborah is actively involved in her local community. She has been married to her husband 25 years. They love spending time enjoying Oregon’s Pacific Coast and Cascade Mountains, boating, fishing, and riding their ATV’s .
