Joe Anderson currently works as a Commercial Lines Account Executive with Western States Insurance Agency in Boise. He works as an outsourced Risk Management and Insurance Consultant, and develops with his clients strategic plans to maximize the coverage in their insurance programs while minimizing the cost through reducing overall account risk.

Mr. Anderson began his insurance career with Marsh of Boise in 2001 after four years serving as a commercial lender. Over the past 8 years, Joe has had the opportunity to work with commercial real estate all over the nation on schedules ranging upwards of $800 million in values. He has reviewed worldwide contracts for insurability, and property and liability exposures for one of the largest construction firms in the Northwest. He has also worked with exporters to secure their products and payments, as well as cover their liability exposures overseas.
Along with his wife Cherish, and children Jeremiah and Hannah, Joe enjoys the good life here in Idaho and looks forward to the fun adventures of raising kids in this great state! Sporting clays, travel, hunting, camping, European strategy games, and helping people in tough spots are all outside–of-work areas of interest.

He holds BBA in Accounting and Finance from Pacific Lutheran in Tacoma and is a graduate of the Hartford School of Insurance and Leadership Idaho Agriculture.
Mr. Anderson is also a federally-appointed member of the Idaho District Export Council.

He co-founded the BNI chapter Treasure Valley Accelerators, and currently acts as the chapters New Member Mentor and Educational Chair. He serves on the Board for the Idaho Affordable Housing Association and on the Advisory Council for Saltzer Medical Group's Occupational Medicine Division. Joe currently is a member of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, the Meridian Kiwanis, Idaho Seed Processors Association, Idaho Well Drillers, and the Building Owners and Managers Association.
