Western State Insurance

Lorraine began her insurance career 28 years ago in Las Vegas, Nevada where she split her time between Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Claims Administrator, Branch Trainer and Branch Tech at the agency.

She moved from a totally dry climate to the totally wet climate of Oregon in 1994 because of the fantastic ‘Rails to Trails’ located in the beautiful City of Cottage Grove. She joined Kinkade Insurance Agency, which in turn was purchased by Bauder and Young in 2001, which in turn was purchased by Western States in 2002.

Lorraine joined the Regional Coordinator Team of Western States June of 2003. Since that time she has received a Facilitator Training Certificate and a Professional Technical Trainer Certificate from Langevin Learning Services. Her ‘clients’ are the employees of Western States and great customer service is her passion. She loves education, teaching and the higher educational opportunities Western States offers to their employees.

She and her husband, Richard, love the outdoors, spending many hours kayaking, biking, skiing and golfing in and around Oregon. Lorraine is also an avid photographer; she always has her camera ready for that perfect picture.

In the community, Lorraine is involved in service projects in and around Cottage Grove on a continuous basis. From the schools, church, theatre and youth programs, Lorraine is always on the move.
