Miriam has been in the insurance industry since 1997, initially as a Marketing Representative with St. Vincent’s Hospital for the Yellowstone Community Health Plan then joining Western States Insurance as a Benefits Advisor in 2000.

Miriam’s practice is diversified; encompassing employee benefits planning, individual insurance policies, income protection with disability insurance, and asset protection with long-term care insurance planning. Using her expertise and business knowledge, she is able to help employers balance their bottom line with their employee’s need for health insurance and ancillary benefits. Taking time with each client, she ensures her client understands their employee benefits and they have received the best possible coverage for their specific needs.

Miriam was born in New York City and was raised in New Jersey; as a first generation Cuban-American she speaks fluent Spanish. She moved to Billings, Montana in 1990 after a successful real estate career in New Jersey and living in Singapore and Louisiana. She graduated magna cum laude from MSU-Billings in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration, receiving the Outstanding Senior Award.
