Having worked within the insurance industry since 1970, Scott has gained a great deal of valuable experience and knowledge throughout his impressive career. He worked for Mutual of New York selling Life Insurance for six years, spent seven years with Cogswell Agency, and was the District Manager with Blue Cross Blue Shield for sixteen years before joining Western States Insurance as a Benefit Planning Producer. Scott is licensed in Life, Disability and Limited Lines Credit.

Honesty, trust, and loyalty are Scott’s predominant values in both his personal life and professional career. He has a developed sense of confidence as a direct result of his years within the ever-changing insurance industry, and remains enthusiastic about helping people with their insurance needs.

Scott was raised on a ranch in the Paradise Valley south of Livingston Montana. He attended The University of Montana and earned his BA in Business Administration in 1969. He became a Certified Health Consultant in 1987 with Purdue University.
