Dave Pillatzke

Dave began his insurance career in 1976 working as a commercial insurance underwriter and risk manager for USF&G Insurance Company. In 1980, he expanded into the commercial sales arena with the Schroeder Brothers Company in Helena, now known as Western States Insurance Agency, Inc. Since then, has worked closely with schools and business in Montana.

He currently is the branch manager for the Helena location and the program manager for the Montana Schools Property and Liability Insurance Plan. This is a partially self insured program specifically designed for Montana school districts and special educational cooperatives which he started in 1995.

Dave works closely with clients and loss control consultants in helping Helena branch clients and Montana school districts reduce their insurance costs by improving their safety programs, managing claims and reducing their exposure to loss.

A native of Helena, Montana, Dave earned a BS Degree in Business Administration and a BS Degree in Finance in 1975 from Carroll College (Helena, Montana).

His in-depth knowledge, experience, education and proven record of success make him very qualified to thoroughly assess insurance needs, recommend improvements or coverage options and negotiate a tailored insurance program.
