Bubba Alsup

Olan "Bubba" Alsup is an instant friend you will remember meeting. Bubba specializes in Group Benefits for small businesses; he enjoys helping small businesses figure out how best to take care of employees with Benefits packages. Bubba started with in Insurance in 2001, joining Western States Insurance in 2005.

Originally from Gainesville, Texas, we are happy that Bubba calls Missoula home. With 3 athletic children he spends a fair amount of time traveling the state and even country watching them play football, volleyball and wrestle. During the off season Bubba and his wife Stephanie spend as much time as possible at Flathead Lake.

Bubba still finds time to treat his community well. He is a Board Member for the Sustainable Business Council, a member of Sentinel Kiwanis, and Past President of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for Western Montana. Some of the projects he has worked on include the "Buy Local" campaign for Sustainable Business Council, Leadership High School for the Missoula Chamber of Commerce, and is also an active member, Deacon and teacher at Missoula Valley Church.

When asked about his position, Bubba knows "...now more than ever it is tougher to figure out what is the best way to implement a health plan. With all of the ongoing change to the Health Insurance laws, now more than ever I am seeing myself as not a salesman but an educator, helping individuals and businesses navigate this complex maze we call Health Insurance to get the most value for the hard earned dollars they are spending."
