Corey Johnson

Corey has a diverse background he has been involved in the construction industry in a couple of different forms. First in the Alternative energy world helping ranchers design remote livestock water pumping facilities. Then in the log home industry designing dream homes. The log home industry ignited Corey’s  entrepreneurial spirit his first business a very successful Real Estate Development company which allowed him the financial strength to be come an investor and co-founder of an Algae Based bio-energy company.  The thing that Corey’s has learned from this diverse background is he has to do is and enjoys bringing “added value to his customers.”

As a commercial insurance producer Corey has used his “outside the box” mentality to design programs for the Mining and related industries. The mining program was created by working with our different carriers he developed a fantastic workers compensation program that has been very successful in Alaska and Montana. This program continues to grow  now with the help from one of the other producers in our office we now have a great Health Insurance element that the mining industry specially the core drilling companies are just getting a glimpse of. He is using this same blue print to develop programs for the Alternative Energy industries (wind, solar and bio-mass sectors).

Corey grew up in the Bitterroot Valley and currently lives in Hamilton. He graduated from Stevensville High School and the University of Montana. Corey loves the outdoors and enjoys attending his 3 children’s sporting events, hunting and fishing. He is also a member of the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department and many other local boards.
