John Neer

John Neer has been an employee benefits consultant for twenty-four years. Before joining Spencer Kinney/Western States Insurance, in 1990, John spent seven years with MSC/Premera Blue Cross. With the Western States Employee Benefits Department for 12 years, John has gained valuable experience in all areas of the benefit field including self-funded and fully-funded medical and dental plans for various sized groups. During the last several years he has assisted in developing in-house HRA plans for groups of all sizes with considerable success. He has also been instrumental in arranging contracts for group disability, as well as life, vision, EAP, and voluntary lines. John and his wife have been married for thirty-two years, have two children and have lived in the Tri-Cities for twenty-five years.
