Karen Tanska-Deardurff

Karen Tanska-Deardurff grew up in beautiful Whitefish, Montana where she has family roots back to the 1880's. Karen lives in Columbia Falls on 40 acres in a perfect setting with a field, creek and timber at the end of the road. Karen entered into the insurance industry in 1996. She is currently the team leader for the personal lines department and is also a producer. Her education has been "life" learning , raising two children, and then two more, three boys and one girl. Karen and her husband Mike have four grandchildren now and they are the joy of her life, and are so much fun. They also have an English Spring Spaniel, their new child. Karen loves the outdoors. She spends most of her time away from the office working on her property, hoping to retire there someday. Her favorite family vacation spot is the pacific coast from Vancouver Island to Northern California. She loves the ocean. She and her husband Mike love to travel. They prefer south of the border, Mexico to Peru. They look forward to travelling to many more countries. Karen enjoys the challenges in insurance. She keeps up to speed on the newest ideas and options that are always in progress with her clients and carriers. She feels that the primary focus of her job is customer care, with one on one relationships with her clients. With years of experience, she feels it is important to be able to provide her clients with options for their personal insurance needs in an ever changing insurance environment. She offers multiple lines of insurance companies and will find the best company for the best price.
