Kristy Corntassel, AAI, CPIW

Kristy Corntassel was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. She started her insurance career as a Commercial Insurance Customer Service Agent, maintaining and servicing a large book of business for local Missoula clients. Kristy also worked in the Corporate Accounting Department for a few years.

Kristy has been with Western States for over 18 years. Having worked in different departments, Kristy knows the ins and outs of the insurance business. Western States recognized her experience, and asked her to become a Regional Coordinator. Kristy helps to train employees on Western States workflows, software and also processes all support staff reviews. She has earned her AAI and her CPIW professional designations.

Kristy and her husband Rod, also an employee of Western States, have two boys and a dog named Griz. With two boys involved in school sports, Kristy stays busy cheering them on at their games, or participating in other school events. She enjoys reading and walking.

Education and training is a crucial part of any business. Western States recognizes this and we feel lucky that she is part of our team!
