Mike McGowan

Mike McGowan is the Branch Manager for the Madras, The Dalles, and John Day branches. He has 25 years experience in the insurance field. The last 15 years Mike has been committed to the independent agency sector as both owner and producer specializing in the public sector. Currently, he oversees the day to day operations of the agency and continues to be the primary contact for the public entity business. Job duties include the hiring and training of new producers, risk management, contract review, and agency relationships. Mike grew up in Vale, Oregon and attended the College of Idaho. He obtained his CIC designation in 1999 and continues to mentor others in excelling in education of their profession. Mike is active in his local communities supporting many non-profit organizations and programs. Mike's activities include hunting, fishing, golfing and the enjoyment of friends and family.
