Rob McWilliams grew up in Spokane, Washington, where he still lives today. He graduated from Ferris High School in 1976 and attended Washington State University 1976-1981.

Rob started his insurance career with a small firm 1987. He then moved to Sedgwick/Marsh in 1990 where he specialized in Commercial Insurance. In 1999 he moved to Jones and Mitchell and became an owner. Ten years later Western States acquired Jones and Mitchell where we are today..

Rob's focus at WSI is mining businesses, oil distributors and contractors. He holds his AAI, CIC and Broker designations.

Rob's ideal customer understands the risks involved and can make the correct risk transfers. The client would understand coverages and not hesitate to call with any questions. His emphases on client service is priority.

Rob and his family enjoy vacationing at Priest Lake in Idaho. He also enjoys skiing, golfing, mountain biking and fly fishing.

Rob served on the Cancer Society Board of Directors, and was also on the Juvenile Diabetes Board of Directors for 10 years. He started and still organizes the Eddie McWilliams Golf Tournament for JDRF, in honor of his brother, who lost his life to diabetes.
